literary evening

was fantastic. After all our effort in doing the video, we didnt even get a prize :( thought ours owned man, with john’s splendid poem to boot. anyhow, im really proud of 2T12 for doing this video, its our first ever combined effort in a (or for the matter of fact, any) project with no complaints, and lots of fun actually sprung out of it.

THE CREW:

perfect.

Lit night was a series of hilarious events when clarence not only got jacked once, but thrice by Brother Paul, Jek Suan and Miss Yao. That was the icing on the cake. Food, venue, programme were fabulous, it was the most atas event in CJ and this just made me love literature even more. Its not about writing and communicating better, but its about appreciating the fine minds at work, the issues on earth and the vanished boundaries of the imaginary worlds. ive always loved reading and watching fantasy novels/films, where i can escape into that world and smile at the possibilities of this world when i close the book.

i read somewhere that ghosts and humans live in different dimensions, like the different storeys in a building. We dont cross each other’s paths unless we are at a meeting point, say a lift. i would like to believe this is the same as imaginary worlds, where i can find a portal into fantasy. Its just like Enchanted or Narnia, where we cross into each other’s worlds. i mean, there are so many possibilities in the exploration of the human imagination that it would be such a waste if we totally ignore that!

crazily yupping away at my fascination with literature aside, beer was fucking cheap at a bar situated in John’s estate. His place is like a mini survival camp, with a minimart, pest control (?!?!), clinic, bar, haato. wtf right?!?! we are so going to hang out there again. i paid a grand total of 9bucks for corona and pizza. shiok! Yesterday was one of the best nights i ever had. lepak-ing, talking cock over beer peanuts and pizza is my kind of life man.

2t12 FTW haha. aight more pictures under the cut.
